Goal!

I want to learn every sport on the planet. I've played soccer, ultimate frisbee, and various others but I haven't gotten to play sports outside of the U.S. I would love to learn lacrosse one day. When I get to travel the world I could learn each nations sport. Some people like things like surfing or skiing, which seem like fun sports that I never got to try yet. I doubt I'll be very good at them but that's the adventure. When I learn each country's sport I could also learn something important they do and learn that with my adventure. I could tackle two things at once.

If You Wanna Take a Ride with Me

I would love to get to ride on an elephant or other colossal animal besides a horse. Everyone can say they've ridden a horse, but how many can say they've ridden a giant elephant?! Not many that's who. Maybe I could ride a tiger or giraffe. How awesome would that be? That would definately be an experience to share. Maybe I can accomplish this task when I travel the world.

Open for Business

Ever since I was a little girl I have cared for animals. Tall, small, large, brown, or white didn't matter, all animals were animals to me and I wanted to make sure they had the best care. Today I even make sure animals aren't being abused or neglected. I always see the commercials on television talking about donating for animals to be saved and I have trouble not tearing up at the sights they show. I want to go and help them save animals and care for each and every single animal. I want to ask the people what they were thinking when buying the pet and then not even caring for it when it needed help. That confuses me and I just can't seem to grasp the concept of the idea.

Recently I have talked with a friend about creating a benefit for animals of abuse and neglect, or for those in shelters to be saved with the community's help. All animals deserve a right to live. I want to help animals before I die. To see animals at risk each day is horrible. I want to open my own shelter for a variety of animals. I plan to get my masters in veterinary medicine, so I can keep track of the pets at my shelter without having to go someone else for care. This will be beneficial for the community and it will be my dream to see such work done. I can't wait to start on this goal and accomplish it.

Fight! Fight! Fight!

High school. People have grown up and some are getting ready to venture away and take on college. You would figure that teenagers who are getting ready to be on their own wouldn't be immature or start fights, right? Wrong. Teenagers are always coming up with new ways to annoy someone or be as childish as possible. Some children are even more grown up then teenagers today. On the note of teenagers being somewhat idiotic sometimes, they love to fight. One little thing can set off a giant debockle. I have been in high school for four years and not once have I seen a fight. Don't get me wrong, of course fights are bad and shouldn't ever happen but with my school, fights aren't rare. I always hear of someone starting a fight and then I wonder when it happened. My friends inform me of the places and, of course, I'm not there. I wonder why the excitement always happens when I'm not there. I like excitement. I want something to make my day more interesting.
I'm not saying that I'm going to make a fight happen before I leave school but it would be nice. I just would like to see some excitement in my last few days before I never get to see some of the people anymore. While I may not have seen a real fight a couple of students started stage fights this year. They don't actually hit each other, but they make it look like the real thing. They are hilarious and just seeing them makes high school a little better. (and more exciting)

Lights, Cameras, Walk

Everyone has seen videos of people at movie premieres, in their fancy dresses and charming tuxes. Someday I want to be one of these people. I want to go to a big movie premiere and walk down the red carpet. Walking down the red carpet would make me feel special and maybe I could possibly meet a few stars. Hollywood fasinates me and I wonder what it is like with the stars. I would love for a moment to feel like they do with all the lights and cameras.
An even greater experience would be to be at the premiere of my own movie. I may not be the star but just to be in a movie and get to walk on the red carpet would make me feel special. I would love to have the chance to meet Will Smith or Sandra Bullock, considering they are major stars. Maybe one day I will be staring in the next big premiere and have one of them at my side, as my co-star. That would be an amazing way to go.

The new seven wonders on the world were picked just a few years ago in 2007. They are:

1. Machu Picchu, Peru

2. The Colisseum in Rome

3. Petra, Jordan

4. Christ Redeemer, Brazil

5. The Great Wall of China

6. Chichen Itza, Mexico

7. The Taj Mahal, India

The seven wonders would be something to see in a lifetime. They are the things that are the most extraordinary wonders that could be made. I would love to travel to each place before different ones are chosen or I die. Seeing the seven wonders of the world would seem amazing to me. The beauty and majesty that each wonder shows would knock me off my feet. There are many beautiful wonders all around me right now and I love to see them, but I would love to take in the real beauty of these wonders of the world.

Boo!

Haunted houses are a thing of the past. Today we have moved to actually going to haunted places. The more activity the better.
I love to watch Ghost Hunters on the SciFi channel. I love getting to learn about the history of old buildings and places where people once lived. One place that stands out to me is Waverly Hills Sanatorium in Lousville, KY. The ghost hunters did a Halloween special once there and I have loved it since. My friends and I planned to spend a night up there one day, but we haven't gotten around to it. It costs a bit of money to stay in the sanatorium over night. I have heard that if you stay inside the sanatorium all night then you get your money back, but I'm not quite sure of this. I would love to one day spend the night there, or somewhere equally as creepy. I am not quite sure where my fascination for the paranormal came from but I love to learn about it and I would love to experience it one day. Paranormal activity is far from boring, but it can cost quite a lot. The TAPS team, ghost hunters on SciFi, use digital thermometers, EMF meters, thermographic and night vision cameras, handheld and static digital video cameras, digital audio recorders, laptop computers, and a K-2 meter. This equipment can get quite pricey and at this point in time I cannot aford to buy it all. One day though, I plan to have some of the equipment and use it on a haunted area.
I once went on a ghost hunt around Owensboro with my friend and her family, because they had won tickets for the tour. I got to see some of the various spots that activity has been detected. I even saw some pictures of people with ghosts. I loved it. While we were in front of the Glenn Davis Funeral Home (I believe that was the funeral home) my K-2 meter started to blink. I looked at my meter and looked around me. When we got close to the parking lot it was still going off so the tour guide took a picture of me so we could see if anything was close by. We all looked at the picture and next to me was an orb. While this may seem that that was not enough to say that there was a ghost I still find amazement in it. I loved that minute and I know that one day I would love to get to go into more intense research of a haunted building or area, so therefore it has gone onto my bucket list.
